The walk in Porto still felt in our legs, we woke up late after a very quiet night. The natural area at Ribeiro do Mourão might be worth a longer walk but we could not go that far. We had to do some food shopping and we would like to visit Aveiro so we moved on. Aveiro did, however, not make a major impression on us, a glorious mix of ancient and modern art and culture. The motorhome parking was facing along a nice canal but behind it there was a terrible traffic noise from the highway. No good for staying at night so before nightfall we drove the 10 km to Praia da Barra. |
Here we were in the spring of 2010, a very quiet place. In the evening it started to rain again but we made a late evening walk in the moonlight and clear skies. It looks good for tomorrow.
