The bells started ringing seven o´clock but it actually didn’t disturb us, we went up by nine. The very friendly Portuguese neighbour motorhome owners showed us where we could empty our waste- and toilet water and where to fill the drink water tank. Then we thought to have a look at this BIG sanctuary by daylight, but Bonnie was stopped. No dogs allowed on the square! Said a guard in Portuguese. We are polite and obedient visitors so we didn’t ask the guard why he wasn’t chasing the two dogs lying high up, on top of the square. Yesterday, at night, we were here with Bonnie, no one said anything about her, probably they didn’t see her because she is so dark. |
Well, our knees are aching already anyway so I just take the pictures I want and say goodbye to this innovative holy business. We have to travel a long way, back to the coast, south of Lisboa and Setubal. We were in Lisboa for two years ago. Repetition unnecessary. Today’s weather looks very good as well, time for a bit beach life for Bonnie is bored of all this holiness.
